2. What data we collect
- Contact details: name, address, postcode, telephone number and email address.
- Enquiry and survey details: property type, existing plumbing, water test readings and the system you are interested in.
- Order and service records: quotes, invoices, payment status and service history.
- Website data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and referring site, collected through strictly necessary and (with consent) analytics cookies.
3. Why we use it and our lawful bases
- Contract: to prepare quotes, carry out installations, service systems and handle payments and guarantees.
- Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries, keep records, prevent fraud, improve our services and defend legal claims.
- Consent: for marketing emails, service reminders you opt into, and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to keep accounting, tax and health and safety records.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only where necessary with our engineers and subcontracted specialists, IT and hosting providers, payment processors, accountants and professional advisers, and with public authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of our group and service providers are based in the United States. Where personal data leaves the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with appropriate technical safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted after 12 months. Customer, installation and guarantee records are kept for the length of the guarantee plus 6 years, in line with the Limitation Act 1980 and HMRC requirements.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within one month.
